About PBC
Perico Bay Club (PBC) occupies most of the southern half of Perico Island, located on SR64 between Anna Maria Island and the mainland of Florida. The 695 homes in PBC are grouped into 17 homeowner and condominium associations. Each owner also belongs to the Perico Bay Club Association, which manages the common properties.
The buildings have different but coordinated architecture, and each community has rules to protect the look and the value of the homes. A key part of that value is the remarkable natural surroundings. Perico Bay Club communities are surrounded by 14 freshwater lakes and three kinds of mangroves. These are home to an abundance of wildlife including bald eagles, roseate spoonbills, ospreys, white egrets, raccoons, armadillos, otters, and much, much more.
The clubhouse includes a kitchen, exercise room, meeting rooms, porch, library, and restrooms. Portions or all of the clubhouse can be scheduled for resident use. Perico Bay Club hosts a variety of social activities open to all residents. These include "Cafe on the Deck" which is a breakfast on the first Monday each month, "Trivia Night", "Happy Hour", "Game Night" and numerous holiday events.
A large swimming pool is available to all residents and guests. Water aerobics and other activities are offered there. A nearby gazebo provides a shady spot to relax, enjoy lunch, or have a game of cards with friends.
There are several courts lined for Pickleball and Tennis, plus a dedicated Shuffleboard court. Tournament play and casual games are available.
If kayaking is an interest, there is an area for kayak storage and a floating kayak launch. Through two small lakes and canals one can reach the intercostal waterway for fishing or just paddling around.
Boardwalks on the east and west sides of PBC provide access to the tidewaters on either side. Fishing is allowed from these boardwalks.
Realtors may host open houses on Wednesday and Sunday each week. If you are interested, you can visit the guardhouse to get a list of realtors that have available properties in PBC.
